CASUALTY! is this smokable? First time grower mistake...

I realize everything is "smokable" but will this be any good?
I was working on putting in a new kick ass fan and had a mishap...
this branch got snapped off!
If i hang this to dry will it be worth smoking or should ii just toss it?
I GUESS ON THE BRIGHT SIDE I CAN PRACTICE CURING IT LOL

I would dry it and smoke it, why not will give you a buzz,. also next time. get some duck tape, and put the branch back in place if its not 100 % off the plant, most of the time they will recover.
 
From the look of it i'd guess that branch was about 3 or 4 weeks into flowering when snapped & looks fairly crystally already, so should give a relatively decent indication of what finished plant will taste like. THC content won't be as high obviously, but it'll give u a bit of buzz. Tho by the time u dry that branch proper, it will only end up as 2 or 3 spliffs worth probably anyway, but like u say, its always good to practice drying & curing.
 
Argh, what a shame! BUT make lemonade out of lemons -- as the others say, try to slow dry and slow cure and see if you like it. You could probably smoke it while you're harvesting and trimming the remaining plant.
 
You'll get a buzz,,,it won't last long and you may get a headache (the delta 9 thc levels are going to be real low and no cbd,cbn and those 2 things spell headache). The flavors have not really come in yet either, so, I would just pitch it or give it to the dog who's nose is in pic 6. The rest of the plant will make up for the loss of maybe 2 J's or if you roll right maybe 1 "spliff".
Looks like a sativa dominate cross,,,,I'd bet it will go 9-10 weeks for that peak of perfection harvest time!

Be patient and wait for the GOOD STUFF....

only downside to smoking that fine bud will be it having all the nutes in it and it will be a harsh smoke.

I've got it hanging now. ill give it a little time, and then in a jar it will go.
Oh and as far as taping it up, i studied the branch before removing it completely. it was probabl about 90% broken off. about the only thing holding it on was the outer "skin" on the bottom side of the branch.

I've taped up a branch just like that, it healed. Then again I've done it and failed before, too. Hit 'n miss.
