Hey Guys. Looking for opinions on the best cash crop strain. Speed and Yield being my utmost determining factors. 100SF growroom, with a 8' ceiling. Any input is appreciated.

Look back on one of my old threads on my profile I had a thread asking same thing. Long story short anything crossed with Big Bud ie Big Bud x White Widow, Big Bud x Northern Lights also pure power plant (PPP) come up. I would recommend TGA strain for mix of yield and potency also northern lights blue served me well and also look at Mr. nice strains meant to yield well. Hope this helps.

Your like the 5th place I've heard of PPP, same thing with Big Bud. Now does big bud have anything too do with Godbud? Also, what does TGA stand for? Thanks for posting btw. Have you any opinions on LA Confidential, Chocolope or Dynamite?
How easy are PPP to grow?

Not sure. Don't think so. But recently heard good things about god bud so could be a potential winner?
TGA is a breeder. It's TGA Subcool. Here's a member here. His strains are notorious high quality and gt the right pheno keep it! I got 5 pack Agent Orange waiting to pop. He only sells regs. Google TGA Subcool go on his site and read all diff strains and info about em.

I started a LA Wonder think it was (don't quote me on that) I know was an LA confidential cross and that was very fast growth in veg but had to toast it pretty early so only saw it few weeks in veg.

Never grown ppp but on my thread a guy had and the pictures are amazing. Massive buds.

if you go for big bud x white widdow stay away from the seedbank "female seeds" very high hermi rate and the pheno's well out of 30 i had 1 keeper where as most seedbanks you have a lot better chance in finding a good phenotype

All dependin were u are but the clone onlys is the way to roll imo and there is always high demand for it

No clones where I'm at. :( I'm the lone grower up here, mainly because I'm rock tight on the secrecy. I'm sure if I started poking around I could dig up clones but that's not worth it in my opinion. Anyone have a suggestion for a good strain to grow along PPP? A plant that would be very different from PPP but with the same approx flower time and maybe nute usage? Is that asking too much?

Northern Lights Blue?

I have a clone only Blue Lights that's a Northern Lights #5 x Blue Dream.

They need to stop naming strains the same thing. Seriously. What's yours?

Cash crop is gonna be anything big bud or crossed with it. Big bud isnt very potent. its just yield. nothing too special...so getting it crossed with something like White widow will give you above average bud and a lot of it. pure big bud is like mids basically. not extremely potent but not exactly bammer. mid grade.

Critical+ from Dinafem (i think its dinafem cant remember now) is a HUGE yielder of GRADE A buds. i highly recommend it for those looking for yield AND quality. LOADS of trichs. 4 oz yield per plant is easily possible w/ topping/FIM and/or LST etc. buds are dense and its very popular in my area as of late. i think its 60/40 sativa. i think!

Another good yielder is White Berry from Paradise seeds. 1lb+ per 1000w is easily possible. it averages 3.5 oz per plant or so. its a cross of white widow and blueberry. (hence white berry) its a good smoke (not as potent as critical+) but it grows very uniform from seed (very clone like in height difference between them).

PPP (as mentioned) is also a great yielder.

Remember though...when choosing strains with high yield its important to consider quality too. its easy to get a big yield but the quality is harder to come by. i think you'd be best served to choose a strain based on what you want (quality/high wise) and grow it in a setup that allows you to maximize ur potential yield. for example growing SOG might be your way to get the highest yield by using the entire floor space covered with basically main colas. you'll maximize the lumens and intensity you can achieve from using an HPS or MH that way. no space is wasted. perfect for a bigger yield and an easier trim session (big buds are always easier to trim than small ones)

Anything will yield well if grown to its potential.

How many grows have you done? if your new then don't focus on a cash crop big yield to get paid. it wont work out like you think. my first yield was horrible. 2 plants = 3oz....under a 600w!!! horrible! now i can net 1g per watt or even better if everything goes without a hitch. so your experience will play a big part into your yield. almost all mj plants can give you 2oz a plant.

i'd just say stay away from sativa dom's and things like strawberry cough (known low yielder) and other similar varieties. Anything 60% indica or higher should yield avg or above avg

dont fall for GHS' yield estimates. they are SEVERELY bloated.

@themanwiththeplan - Thanks for the insight. I'm on the second grow, good bagseed this time, still haven't ordered seeds. I'm just finding out which seeds I'm going to order when the time finally comes. My first grow was 31 females that I abused to hell and back cause I had no clue what I was doing, came out with a total of 18oz of dried bud with seeds in them. Then I tried to more batches and both didn't make it for stupid reasons, 1 was I tried 24 hour lights and it seemed to kill the seedlings, the second time I dialed everything in so well that they exploded and I didn't get to water them in time so they died(bad bad pot grower!) Anyways, this time I've got 35 femals growing, 12 days into 12/12, they're all about 26"-34" tall and really healthy. My plan is to select 2 mothers from this crop and clone 30 plants and dial everything in perfect, soil, nutes, all of it. I want to do 2 full grows with clones from these mothers so I can get a good baseline, THEN I'm going to order seeds. So as of right now I'm still like....4-5months out from ordering seeds, plenty of time to research :) Thanks for the input.

If i were you i would find a strain that is 1st of all easy to grow (pref first hand experience), then maximize its limiting factors. ie light, air, water. GL!

you are going to want to lean towards the indica side of things if you are worried about speed. there's plenty of quick hybrids out there though if you want to retain the sativa side of things.

Use This Link. Use the seedfinder search thread to narrow down your choices. http://en.seedfinder.eu/search/extended/

It's one of the best ways out there to find what you are looking for. If you want a good cash crop with great bag appeal then go for something REALLY Fruity, or REALLY Skunky. :peace:

One of the other guys mentioned blueberry x White widow (White berry) I grew blue widow which is a cross of these two plants an had a great yield when scrogged, 2plants in a 1m tent scrogged and got just over 16 o of them, good yeilder and pretty good smoke too

holy *BLEEP*! Part of your problem is you're growing farrrrr too many plants for a new grower. id focus on just a handful of plants and work on those. you're taking on too much too soon.

my best advice is keep it simple. dont grow 10, 20, 30 plants. thats too much for anyone who isnt experienced.

if you're only into your second grow id say go order a strain that is easy to grow and just get the hang of growing something great before trying to cash in on it. Try a strain like Skunk #1. its a very well known classic strain that is EASY to grow. Another one is northern lights. both are very beginner friendly and don't require much work.

Things to know about mj: Ph should be between 5.8-6.3 in soil. feedings should be alternated between waterings (one watering with plain old pH'd water and the next with the food). its best to start feedings on 1/4 dose to be careful not to burn ur plants/seedlings. feed nitrogen rich nutes in vegetative stage. use bloom foods for flowering stage. you should water when you pots feel light. so do the lift test (lift a pot of dry soil and compare it to your plants. once the plant starts to feel light like the empty one then you water).

overwatering is bad. underwatering is far better on the plant but neither is a "good thing". just saying you'll do less damage by underwatering. when the plants dry out the roots grow searching for water so that drier period is important to plant growth (better plant/root growth equals a better yield than an overwatered/under developed root system)

Never feed within 10-14 days of harvest unless using 100% organic nutes. avoid using chemical pesticides. organic pesticides that are safe for food crops will suffice as you have to treat mj as an edible crop since you consume it.

No leaves should be trimmed or pruned (unless already dead) once the plant is in the flowering stage. it will stunt the growth of the plant to pick off healthy leaves. all pruning, topping, and fim should be done in veg ONLY.

in flowering you want low humidity 30-45% is ideal. in veg you want high humidity (60-90%). temps shouldn't go above 85 and shouldn't drop below the 50's for most strains.

um...im sure theres other good advice i forgot but that right there should help you alot.

Defintly critical mass buddy. THat is the new big bud. Mr.nice guy sells critical mass. Big buddha also sales the version but it is a auto flower. If you go with either pm will work something out ;]
