Casey Anthony's Verdict

I think its a horrible thing that a baby killer was released back into the world, but i am strangely proud the jury was able to do there job the correct way. I find solace in the fact that her life is ruined, have you guys read the articles on how everyone and their mom is filing lawsuits against her. Even the nanny whose name she used is filing a lawsuit...nice.

Did i mention that i think the bitch is guilty as sin?

If I hear that silly fucking word karma one more time........ the truth is she has to go into hiding for a few years, she'll come out with tv and book deals out the ass, this bitches life isn't ruined, just temporarily . Morons will buy her books, morons will follow this simple minded bitch and listen to her story. I for one boycott this bitch.

if she was to be convicted would she have gotten the chair ??????

one thing i must say be pretty fckt up to really convict someone with out a reasonable doubt and to convict someone and after his or her death find out she was innocent and you as a juror killed her in sense

I wold be pretty fckt up if was one of the jurors that killed someone its no doubt a horrible crime and i hope someday it will come to a rest properly

Chances are if this bitch was convicted she wouldn't have been sentenced to death but she sure would have done more time than she did for 4 goddamn misdemeanors.

Yes you are right that the jury did only go by the evidence and the prosecution FAILED to get it right...but it is a sad day when a dear sweet innocent child's life is lost and no one pays for it...her ass should be in jail just for covering it up...!!!!
it has been for the past 3 years. ;)

The Prosecution over reached it's charge. Had the prosecution focused on abuse for not reporting it they would have A) WON and B) gotten about the only charge, other than lieing to law enforcement.

I've been involved in numerous FB debates about this case and the jury's performance. What I've seen from far too many people (both liberal and conservative) is that they demand that the jury should have found her guilty on the murder/manslaughter counts - because she was involved, even though they couldn't determine what her involvement was. Every one of them ignore the fact that while the coroner's office determined it was murder, they could not determine the manner (drowning, stabbing, poison, strangling/suffocation, etc.) - this leads me to ask: how then can they determine this was murder if they cannot say how? I'm not asking for specifics, not even a murder weapon. The state fucked up and the victim was justice... It's not the jury's position to fix this mistake, taking that type of approach in our justice system undermines the legal presumption of innocence and places the burden of proof on the defendant. This type of justice system is common in hell holes like China, North Korea, Iran, the USSR, and any other country where human lives are disposed of like a piece trash.

I hope to hell we never achieve the type of justice system those idiots were asking for... they would rather see people like her be convicted at the cost of the innocent. They claim they do not, but when you shift who bears the burden of proof and the evidenciary procedure - that will be exactly the system that will emerge.

Peoples opinions on here seem to be guilty until proven innocent. Jesus christ, act like you know.

Why is it so difficult to convict Casey when Scott Peterson now sits on death row?
Do you mean to tell me that there was LESS evidence with Kaley's body...than there was when they finally found Stacy Peterson after being drowned and in the water for well over a year?

did she have a bullet hole in her head?
i remember the case, but i didnt pay attention to it. but thats one example of proof of murder. also there can be cut marks on bones, like from a hatchet, or on the ribs from a chest stabbing

I don't remember difinitively...but I seem to recall that the body was so far gone there was no way to tell. I thought they basically got Scott on fairly circumstancial stuff....that pointed to the fact nobody else could have done it. I could research it if I felt motivated but alas... lol.

You act like our judicial system is actually working and fair, you act as if no one has walked away from a crime free of charges and full well guilty. act like you know.

you got to think about it for a moment yes crime was Bad but the jurors are human and like you and me so in reality who fckt up jurors took the evidence and decided Not guilty must be evidence proving that she didnt do it and if she did the prosecutors really should be moving cause there to blame

Hang the prosecutors for not doin there job lol

No, I don't think that is what he was saying. Our system works because we apply innocent tell proven quilty. I hope you do not want it the other way, because alot more innocent people spend there lifes in prison for things they never did.

Our system is not bullet proof but it is as close to it as you can get.

Us as bystanders can never know and should never presume we know what happened in this situation.

I feel deeply for the families involed and yes even for Casey, the turmoil in her life must be close to imbearable. I hope she finds peace with herself someday..

American justice system in action. I say awesome job to the jury. Resist emotion and public pressure and look at the facts as presented by the prosecution. These are the times I am reminded that America is still a great country.
WTF? How can you say that dont you have children of your own? dont you have an empathy? haha, I get so sick of these people that think they know if someone is guilty or not just because of what they saw on TV, Im sorry but you can spin any story any way you want, and make anybody look guilty to the public, The weight of proof is on the accuser, if the accuser cant prove it beyond a reasonable dought, and reasonable dought is really any dought at all, then the accuser has failed and that person is not guilty.

this is because letting guilty people go free is a lesser evil than taking away the freedoms of an innocent.

good post sync0s
