Carnivorous Plants

Figured some of you potheads could appreciate my passion for CP's. Nothing like getting ripped and hanging out in the greenhouse filled with carnivorous plants.
Thought I'd share some pics whilst getting baked.
This is my tropical highland greenhouse.
It's in my den, so conditions are consistent year round.
daytime 80*F w/ 85% humidity
nighttime 58*F w/ 90% humidity
Lighting ~ 8 bulb 4ft T5HO
2 ultrasonic fogging humidifiers run 24/7 along with 2 fans.

ENJOY!!

Kind of an old picture of the setup. Things have been changed up a bit.

I could do this all day. I've got 5 photobucket accounts full of pics.

I must've missed it.
I looked all over for a misc. plant thread for things other than cannabis. But didn't see one..

That's awesome i love it! Do you get to see them actually eat flies and such? I really don't know much about CP but i assume they also use photosynthesis as their main food supply and the bugs are extra? I think i will look into making a setup like this one day, very nice.

the only thing i dont like about it is the really high humidity needed, other then that id love to have your set up

I actually found the mod and was going to PM to ask about moving this thread.. but.. is it just me or is there no private message (PM) system here?!!?!
Guess a chatbox is out of the question.

So uh.. yeah. MODS, can ya please move this to the misc. gardening area please?

@RC: carnivorous plants do photosynthesis. But they grow in peat/sphagnum bogs which is high in acids and low in nutrients.
So the plants eat bugs as a source of nutrients.

Yeah.. Nepenthes tend to look a bit, phallic.
