Carbon filters

Hey guys, I'm curious about how long carbon filters last before they start loosing effectiveness?

im at my third grow with my filter now, and it's the first time the wife has complained about the smell

my current grow is very strong smelling so I'm not sure if its just that or my filter is not as good or most probs a combo of both.

here is my fan+filter, I don't know much about it. I'm using a 4x4 foot tent.

They all vary a little bit depending on the quality, & your set-up but they should last 18 months. I am about their on mine, but I still have good odor control.

I just made my own, with some parts from the hardware store. Works pretty damn good to get rid of the green smell and the kelp smell that drives my wife nuts.
