you coul try going to walmart and buying an air filter from the automotive section and get activated carbon from the pet section. you can easily use a thin sock, activated carbon, and an air filter to cut down on smell. fill the filter with the carbon and cover with a sock so you dont spill the carbon out and attach to whatever ducting you have setup. I also live in texas and this is a very cheap and easy thing to setup and cost about 20 to 30 dollars max.

i have some activted carbon and some dryer shhets and stuff like that but i wanted to buy a good one that would last a year are 2

My suggestion is better safe than sorry and that you should get one. Or make one like smokeyj suggests its easy and 30 dollars is much cheaper.

Personally I bought one for 160. They last 1-2 years.

<edit>Phresh carbon filter is a good filter

what is up with tha hela copters do they only bust the guys that got like 20 lamps in there house , i herd they only use them when they suspect a grow house because its supper exspensive
also do any of you guys use that stuff that blocks the coppers from seeing the heat ?

I think its unconstitutional to use the FLIR helicopters. I read somewhere that any good marijuana lawyer could fight it. Lets hope that never happens anyways.

But yeah they do have those helicopters and do bust people with them. Keep your heat down in the room with everywhere else in the house and it wont look suspicious.

I've seen images of grow rooms on those cameras and they look like fire in a ocean of lumber.

I got mine on amazon. Its a 6x24" rated for 550 CFMs. They make em in all sizes.

I think anything that would camouflage the grow for those cameras would be either really expensive or it doesnt work. I'm not an expert on that sorta thing, but why would they make really expensive cameras for something that could be fixed for 10 dollars and an hour
