carbon filter

i need to buy a carbon filter ive been putting it off but its really starting to smell so what one and size should i buy im running a 400 watt hps 3x3x6 tent with a 6" 400 cfm inline dimmed to 50% my question is should i get one rated for 400 cfm even if im not running it at full power just a lil confused really need to get rid of almost all odor money isnt an issue just need to know what to do

yes get a filter with the same rating and size as your fan, even if your not running at full speed

alright thanks wasent sure if that was the right thing to do so even if the filter is bigger and the fan dimmed down it will remove the smell properly

i agree. the filter gos before the fan the inline fans works better pulling air through then pushing
