Carbon filter to heavy for tent

or milk crates to the height and put the filter on them, no strain on the framing. the close hanger looks like wasted space on the sides, when your girls grow up nice and fat, the plants not humans if applicable, they will need every inch of the floor.........hopefully

It's heavy duty mate if my cf weighed 80 kilo more I still think it would handle it
lol, I miss read it, sorry...but the wasted space aspect still holds true, i wonder if they make an adjustable one to go to the edges and the top

That works out to more than 50 USD. Umm. I could go buy a few 8 or 10 ft 2x2 for under $10.
Good tip, just not the cheapest.
Maybe put some rubber pads under the legs. It would keep a hole from wearing in the bottom and reduce vibration.

By the way, how does blowing out the filter shorten its life? It is the same amount of carbon no matter which way air travels.
Only reason I ask is some filters don't reccomend blowing out and some do. My phresh does and doesn't mention shortening the life span.

there is a greater surface area on the filter for the incoming air when it is sucked and exposes the air to the carbon in a slower more uniform manner, but if you read the specs of the manufacturers if says to use a pre-filter (white sleeve) otherwise you shorten the life of your filter as larger particles hit the carbon and shorten it's life span. Also the air has to travel above a certain velocity for the carbon to work, too slow and it doesn't work either...

I'm not sure where you got that info but carbon filters work different than outside surface area. If the room is sealed and heat is not a problem you can run your filter as slow as you want.
Surface area of the outside of a filter doesn't matter. It is the total surface area of the carbon itself. That is why coco carbon is better. It is not uniform and has more surface area. You have the same amount of surface area on the carbon no matter which way the air flows.

Relph I was just saying I think it could hold 80k more as a point of how strong it is that's all, I don't have a 80 kilo cf lol wish maybe..
