I grow, in the corner of a 13x9 ft room, a few plants. I want to know if I could use a carbon filter anywhere in the room to clean the air of odors? I want to put an intake near the plants, wich goes thru a Carb.filter and the outtake on the other side of the room... The filter will filter the same air again and again... Will this lower the odors in the room? I can't blow the air out of the room... This is my problem...

For now I'm using TiO2 stuff and it's really fine for now, but I will flower soon and it might get worst and the need of a Carb.Filter might come...

The deal with carbon filters is you have to maintain a negative prssure to prevent odor leaks. That means you'd have to partition off a section of space (like a tent) to keep it fresh. Just recirculating in a room isn't going to cut it. If you can't be venting like that, I'd recommend you look into a programmable/periodic misting system like a Vaportronic. I voted carbon filter, but I also use smells-good.

UserFriendly is correct. That's not going to do you much good. One of those stand alone Honeywell/Holmes type HEPA/carbon filters might reduce odor a bit just using recirculated air, but I don't think it would be worth it. That is what you would be doing in essence with your idea, and it will help. Good luck figuring it out. If you have an inline fan matched to the filter, a tent or some type of partition would go a long way. Good luck.

It's not going to work. I tried it. I had my door open just a crack and the odor leaked out really bad. I thought my carbon filter was spent, but I did it properly and now the odor is eliminated. It is amazing how well carbon filters work.

Outside my grow room I can't smell it at all...inside, smells like a skunk pissed in your face, and I'm not quite 3 weeks into flowering yet.

If you think it smells now and you're in veg, you've got another thing coming.

You would be best to buy a tent for your grow room, inside the room.
