title pretty much says it all do you perfer to buy a premade make home made pros cons

does it really make a difference ?

Unfortunately for a carbon filter to work properly you must have X CFM across X thickness of activated carbon for X amount of time. Meaning you have to match your inline fan to what kind of carbon filter you have or vise versa. Dont get me wrong a home made filter is better than no filter but a premade filter is deff better than a home made one.

Got to agree. Premade filters usually work better and are much easier.

i i don't know much about the carbon filters but i know homemade is always the cheaper route of the results are anonymous
