Carbon filter exhaust air

Hey!

It feels weird that I can't find any answers to this questions so can anyone please help. I have 370 cubicfeet/10.5 cubicmetres room with air conditioning. I'm placing carbon filter inside the room ofc but can the carbon filter exhaust air come to the same room? Or should it in this case too to go outside the room?

There's two types of grow room.

Sealed
Or
Active air exchange.

Sealed , you need aircon, dehumidifier, and you run a fan and filter to scrub the air and not vent.
You also need to introduce co2 by tank or burner.

Active air exchange, you control the heat and humidity mostly by exchanging the warm air for cool air by using a fan and filter to vent the room and the air goes outside and is replaced by new air which has higher co2 levels.

So it depends on if your running Sealed or Active air exchange.

If I understand the question correctly
Yes you can scrub the air and recirculate but you need fresh air intake

Thanks for reply!
To specify my question..it's a clothes room and it has exhaust vent on the upper corner of the wall. It's part of a normal air conditioning apartments usually have. Air comes through other rooms. There's little crack for air movement below the rooms door. My plan was that the carbon filter and fan combo comes to the other side of the room, mainly for odour control. It takes air from the room and exhaust air from it comes back to the room. I was thinking if that's ineffective somehow or could it even fuck up something in the room.

It should exhaust out of the grow space as you need to exchange that air 10-15 times per hour. Or ACH. The exhausted air is clean, so you can vent it into another room. You need "makeup air" to replenish the air in your lung room, or the room that your grow space intake is pulling air from.
