Capsules Cooking Method

I'm using the frying pan and coconut oil method. I was thinking of heating the oil to around 330-350 degrees then taking the pan off the heat and adding the herb.

The question is that should I replace the pan and let it simmer for 30 minutes at 200 or let it cool down in the pan in room temperature? I am trying to make capsules.

I'm not considering the crockpot method because i dont and want to buy one.

i have never done it that way before but i would think if you put weed into straight hot oil it would eventually just burn it, coconut oil will start to burn and smoke at 360 degrees, so i would just be careful not to burn your THC while making this, you could make weed butter in a pot on you stove as another alterative, there’s tons of different ways to do that on this site

I have been making capsules for some time now, and I cannot keep up with the demand. I use a slow cooker and coconut oil. But there are other methods that will work as well.

You can place a pyrex measuring cup into a pan of water, put the oil and cannabis into the cup, and simmer. Do not boil.

I grind my cannabis to a fine powder, using a coffee grinder, and I leave the cannabis in the oil when I fill the caps. I do not strain the oil, this is not necessary.

I simmer my oil/cannabis mixture for 8 hours with the temperature @ 150 F. When the oil is finished I pour it onto a chilled cookie sheet and it will solidify immediately. I then place it in the fridge until I'm ready to fill the caps.

I sell the caps to the local dispensaries and they can't get enough...!!!!

thanks vincent, one question, I am not using a crockpot but just a glass bowl in water with a thermometer. Do I need to cover the glass bowl witht he lid?

also burnout you can get gelatin capsules and do it by hand or buy the capsule machine.
