Can't tell sex, 20 days in flowering, picture of bud site

Hello all,

I still can't tell sex and it's 20 days into flowering. I'm linking a picture to the bud site...

looks female to me . If it was a male , it would have a bunch of balls instead.

20 days, huh? Do you have a light leak or something that's preventing it from getting a true 12/12?

Nope, if anything it's maybe it would be the equivalent of a night light in a large room, that still has to then further penetrate the PVC bucket and 10 layers of black spray paint. (I'm :joint:

, trying to use very detailed descriptions to let you know lol...)

And I sleep in the room.

Ok, well, the leaf structure did make me think it's sativa-dom, but three weeks to show sex does seem a little long. Even the equivalent of a night light could be throwing that off. You'll see over time. If it continues to not show sex, then you might have to eliminate that equivalent of a night light.

How long did you veg for?

How long did you veg for?

it all depends on how long he vegged it for. if you only veg a plant for two weeks and flip it to 12 / 12, the plant still has to grow and mature and be sexual mature before it'll flower, which could easily take another month ime... this is why i don't get 12 / 12 from seed, but w/e do i know..

anyhoos, i think i can one pink pistil all solo in the pix, indicating a girl..

Yeah, that's why I asked. The shot was so tight I couldn't see the size of the plant to judge age.

Well.... why don't you gently pull up it's leafy stuff and look under her skirt for the Calyx ?
You know the calyx that shows sex? Right at the bottom of bud, where it connects to stem...

Of your Calyx? Looks kinda like it... keep an eye right there, it will show... no two little hairs... then it's bad news...
Kinda can't really tell...
I might need better glasses...

also wanted to add:
20 days--->
You flipped lights 20 days ago...
so plant is slow... 20 days from flip not too long...
If you have used Super Thrive, at beginning of bud/end of veg it could possibly slow sign of sex...
It'll get there soon...
