Ok, I had started a thread a while back stating that these plants start to wilt, and within a day they are pretty much completely dead. so I looked on some of them and see near the base of the stalk where it goes into the pods... what seams to be spider-ish web looking things? they are white and approx an inch or so in diameter... this must be the culprit but I cant tell what exactly it is.

Any thoughts?

Will try to get pics if possible.

WEBS are def spider mites... fungus or mold won't produce webbing, anyway. Need to get a good magnifing glass or jewlers loupe to check. Mites are smaller than a grain of table salt...and they multiple terribly fast! I use a Radio Shack Illuminated handheld microscope to check the color or the trichs when flowering, but you can also use it to look for bug problems if you suspect them. I'll find the link to my earlier post regarding that and post it back in here...
