Yes the tomato cages worked great. Any stray stems were easily supported with metal insulation support wire bent into a u shape.
Really glad I seen your pictures. Rose cages turned up today, I just snipped the top off them and have test fitted everything, looks like they're going to be great. I'll do as you say and use the insulated wire to tie back to cage. Will be able to roll/spin each pot without getting everything tangled up now. Cheers.

Beautiful plants. And I just noticed that medal box and flag. That's awesome. Is that your grandfathers? Those medals look a lot like the ones I have from my grandfather from WWII and other wars around that time.
My dad who fought in the Philippine liberation campaign- he never talked about his experience with us kids- I didn’t understand at the time but I do now.
Lots of neighborhood kids had cool army jackets with their last name, I asked my dad where his was, he said when they came into San Francisco Bay on the ship- he tossed his duffel overboard. I think he wanted no reminders of his experience.

I think we have some of the same medals, :bigjoint:. These are from my grandfather. He was was on a Navy ship so he talked like a sailor. My dad was in Vietnam and he doesn't usually talk about it. He's got some PTSD from it. That's a beautiful box. I need to get something better for what I've got. I covered up his dog tag.

This was the flag that draped his coffin- even after being out of the military for 50 +years-
he still had full military honors at his funeral. It was awesome-

It does indeed look like they may have possibly crossed paths!! My dad was a truck driver delivering critical supplies through some tough conditions. These supply trucks were a popular target. I can’t imagine-

So I had taken a few clones from the Matanuska- I usually grow from seed so I was really just experimenting. I neglected them and decided to just put the 2 survivors in with the flowering plants. Now I have 1 tiny and one small plant in flower- developing trichomes, I just started to feed them regularly. What do you think? Bout a pound?!

So after curing the verdict is-
Dolato- solid buds, very strong smoke, excellent bud structure - best of this group

Green crack- this one is a close second-
Nice buds, not quite as solid but definitely not fluffy, I am liking it more and more as I use it.

Matanuska thunder fuc* - huge colas, again not as solid as the Dolato but not fluff. This one is tasty bit not as strong as the others.
I will post some pics-
