little darker.normal smell until you break the nug then a really strong smell
When you say normal smell, do you mean it smells like if you had dried it in a tent or a normal way without using a cannatrol or similar machine? Thanks for the reply
Ps. I'm literally just about to buy the parts but am in 2 minds now if I should

i had to dry a little bit longer.i built a smaller one with only 4 shelves and i had over 300g dry herb at the end. soo it took me 7-10 days.
there is a learning curve to it you need to make your own settings and change them after a while.cannatrol does all that on its own but costs 10x more....

Thanks for this but one I've seen from someone else drys in 7-10 days so very similar to the Cannatrol, this one if I'm reading it correctly is taking weeks not days and that maybe okay for some but the people buying or wanting to buy a Cannatrol want the finished product in that time frame not waiting weeks....

well if you want it in that timeframe then pay the 10x price. or pay even more for a freeze dryer and dry it overnight

You can fine tune the environment using the inkbird to achieve dried bud in as little as 7 days with most units, it’s just not as good as waiting the 3 weeks
