Cannabutter method and consumption

Hello,
I made cannabutter today with 3 cups of water +- one or two because i added water while cooking, ~300g of unsalted butter and 7gs of jack herer. I cooked for 2.5 hrs at a low simmer but at some points, mainly the first hour there wasnt really a lid on it, and it was simmering strongly. is it still potent? it isnt very dark, the butter, but it smells pretty bad so i was going to make cookies with it at 250F? smart plan?
Also, how much should i have to consume, grams wise, to "feel it" so to speak, i smoke everyday.

pic here, its a little more yellow in real life,

thanks MJD

yeah cookies, brownies, cakes, basically anything sweet that calls for butter in the recipe is delicious when prepared with cannabutter. I cant really say how much you will need to consume as i dont know how tolerant u are. All i can say is eat a conservative amount, wait for about 30 min to see if u feel anything, if not eat a little more and wait 30 min. Since ur not smoking the THC it will take time for it to "kick in", and theres nothing worse than eating way more than u were supposed to cause u didnt feel it right away.....you'll be passed out on the couch after eating everything else but ur cookies.

what is the highest temperature u can cook the cannabutter into things like brownies and cookies which sometimes req a 350F or at what point does it ruin the cannabutter

subbed, MJD have you tried any yet? i wanna know how much u needed to eat of - 300g : 7g, in2 days ill be making 80g : ???. and will be split into 8 serves, so im really interested in how much weed i need, also form ur question above, my cokie recipe calls to be cooked at 180C which is 356F, is this gunna muff it?
