cannabutter and cakes

ok guys n girl i want to make some cakes....... how much weed would i need to add to 500grams of butter, if i want my cakes to get me and my friends high!!!

The general rule is an ounce of bud to a pound of butter. That is PLENTY to get you fucked up. Also, dont just put butter and weed in a frying pan for a while You want to melt the butter in a large pot. Add ALOT of water. now put the weed in, and boil for about 7 hours adding water as neccessary. After 7 hours, strain out plant material. place liquid in a pan/bucket/tub/whatever and place in fridge. let sit overnight. the butter will harden on top of the water, and you can just scoop it off. It will be green and delicious and VERY potent. Seriously, be careful with this stuff.

lol you don't boil for 7 hours, you boil for about an hour and simmer for another 2.

It's fine to boil for as long as you want, just make sure to add water as needed so it doesn't burn.

yeh thats the kinda of stuff i wana bake, can you put it in any cakes like scones or fairy cakes?

I agree. Boiling it for 6-8 hours is best. It will fuck you up!

*I boil mine more at a simmer. just a slight rolling boil

Put it in anything that calls for butter

fuck all that boiling, just put your weed and butter in a crock pot and ste it on low. let to do its thing for at least 4 hours( I like to go 12 but its not needed) then strain the butter and press the weed to extract all of the butter. and there you have it

I just wana say if uve never ingested pot before, get ready lol different high that last WAAAAAAAAAYYYY longer. damn i let mine boil for 2 hours and its pretty good to go...6-8 must be outta control lol

I agree PR, 1-2 hours is ample, but i would add it depends on the quantity

Boiling isnt really nedessary. Just a very slow simmer is all you need. In fact, I use my Crock Pot now. I put an oz of dry trim/buds in the Crock Pot, add four sticks of butter,. then cover the weed with maybe 4 cups of water. Set the crock pot on LOW and cover it. Leave it on all night. Next morning, pour everything into a big bowl THRU a strainer. Set the bowl in the fridge. Once it gets cold, the butter will have hardened on top. Just lift it out. Throw the water and green stuff out.

I prefer brownies because one small brownie is a perfect dose. And I DO mean "small". In fact, two people can get off on one small brownie or one person can get totally major fucked up.....and probably sleep thru most of the party. If you want to do a cake, bake it in a sheet pan so you can cut pieces about 2" X 2".

Even better is making chocolate ganash bon bons. Heat up a cup of half and half or cream in a small pot and remove from heat. Gradually add a bag of chocolate chips, stirring to melt them. Now add one stick of the cannabutter. It will be pretty thick. Let it cool a bit, then use a small ice cream scoop OR a teaspoon to form little 1 " balls. Lay them out ona try and stick em in the fridge. Eacj piece of candy is a perfect dose and tastes great. Add chopped nuts if you want. In a tupperware container with a tight lid, these can keep for 2 weeks in the fridge.
