Has anyone ever heard of this? i had a side branch on a Frisian dew plant with flat stem mutation, at the time i had no idea what it was and in the end chopped it off after it started flowering, but recently discoverd a green house seeds strain hunters video which features this flat stem mutation found in the wild.
this first picture is the first image of when the flat stem started and so on progressing through the grow until it flowerd but did not produce buds, just white hairs.

This flatening of the stem is caused by a lack of silica, it happened to a kandy kush plant i had the stem flatened and split into two and formed two main(flat) colas and produced over 4 oz's dry.

Try using AN rhinoskin
Why did u cut the buds off ?

did the whole of your plant have this flat stem? as mine was just a small side branch, at the time i had no idea what it was really and it got chopped near the end of flowering as it was producing white hairs but no phsical buds, i thought it would be a waste of the plants energy to keep it on. have you got any photos of this kandy kush plants gogsyc?

maybe not its just what i read somewhere, could possibly be some genetic mutation too its seems to happen to older plants more.
Two plants from one seed cool never seen that before did they both survive

I actually had 3 out of 4 seeds give birth to twins. I killed off 2 out of the 3 runts do to plant counts. I am journaling the grow now. see link below. Qleaner
