Canna coco

Hello all. I've been growing in soil for a few years now, and I've decided to switch to canna coco natural with canna coco nuts. Any tips for growing in coco would be great.
Coco is brilliant,i have been using it now for about 7 year, and i can't see me ever changing to anything else.I do use a 60/40 mix with clay balls,i flower in auto pot's but i veg by top feeding, just like you would a soil grow, the reason i think that plants love that mix is the airation of the medium.I have used advanced sensi pro a few year ago with it that worked fine, but now i use a mix of canna and advanced nutrients.

I have used coco slab's before, with good results but if you are going to use the slabs then make sure you add perlite or larva rock or clay balls any thing to break it up and get air into the mix, also when you need to use it make sure that you add water to it the day before you need it or a couple
of days before needed,I also think, some kind of support is needed more when using coco, either a scrog or a circle frame support.

If you can get canna coco a/b 2 part nutrient all way through, simple but very effective, good luck hope all goes well it should do it's a really simple medium,to use.

Leave that root i only put half my cube below the surface of the coco, with roots growing out the side of the cube's these become air roots, they become very thick and help to get plenty of air into the root zone
I've noticed that on a few clones in this batch. Only saw it once before, and it ended up pencil thick, and towards the end looked like a pine tree root.

Day 23 in flower. Shits going crazy. Realizing now I should have flipped the lights a week or so sooner. This is not quite a scrog anymore. But I'm not complaining. Looking to be a bumper crop for me. Here's a couple topless pics , and a couple upskirt pics.IMG_20160324_203704868.jpg IMG_20160325_202015314_TOP.jpg IMG_20160324_203657655.jpg IMG_20160325_202022497.jpg

I think if you want to grow a big plant you need a big pot. Those 6 plants I have in my flowering room will pull between 8 to 10lbs.
This my veg room for the next grow. There are 3 Dream machine 2 DNA 91 Krypt all started from seed and one of northern lights x plus I have 2 more of the northern light x as back ups. just encase there is a male from the 91 krypt
Yes, finally somebody is growing Dream Machine, I have 20 on its way, only now I am struggling with a slow start...after they sprouted in small rockwool cubes I transplanted them to solo cups with coco 75% / perlite 25%, the growth has stopped....but I am very interested how much you will yield with the DM's ...

Yes I was having a lot of trouble find anyone growing them. So I have 3 of them in now one of them has a lot of Sativa in it. They have a very large leave on them and are growing very nice the last picture is the one looks differentDSC00664.JPG DSC00665.JPG DSC00666.JPG

Impossible to say how much you would yeild ,but from pictures will be a very nice amount
Yes very hard to say what I will get of them. I did not take any clones of the sativa looking one I hope it don't come back to bite me in the ass.
As it look like it going to have a lot of heads on it

Cheers Bryangtho...I'we been trying to figure out that should I simply try to get things done with hand watering ,but can't make up my mind with it yet, because I know that treating coco like hydro gives the best and fastest results, meaning having chilled water tank and special timers where the exact time for on and off can be adjusted even per seconds increments if necessary,,,the only downside is chillers what hums at night also and stresses the f*** out of me..

I run a run to waste system I think it the best way I have been growing this way for about 20 years. I have just started using a second timer its the best thing very little waste for the veg room. I feed my smaller plants 4 times a day for about 15 seconds a feed. To water by hand to hard I go threw 220 litres in 4 days that's with 6 plant. And with in the next week or so will go few that in 3 days

End of day 48 flower. Starting to see a random few brown hairs. They are continuing to swell up and fill in nicely. Cut the lights to 11 on 13 off. Going to drop an hour off light cycle every few days until I get to 8/16. Then lights off for the last couple days of grow. Also wondering what people's thoughts are on increasing/decreasing light intensity for the final couple weeks. I'm running them at 1000 right now, wondering if I should turn them up to 1100 or down to 825 for the last week. Any thoughts on this subject?IMG_20160419_060855920.jpg
