Canadian Suppliers

Just testing out Fedex and small packages are a couple $ more than CP so could be same or cheaper on contract. I tested out with a 40Lb package and it was same as UPS in the $120 area across Canada. Looks like I should set up a Fedex account I guess for when my stores go live.
It was either fed ex or purolator. I can't recall exactly though. The CP would of ran atleast $80-$100 if not more. Because of where I live the shipping isn't much more then my travel costs on the 8 hour round trip to a shop. Plus their gear is cheaper then a shop and I don't have to deal with or see their blazed out idiot kids working there lol
I have worked for two different friends shops over the years. The internet has def killed their mark ups.
Cheers :)

Just noticed Canpar has their own Woocommerce module for free. That's sweet as most official woocommerce modules are $80 US per year.

Somebody must offer good deals out there for ya Canna. Some of places must get flat rate because they can offer free shipping on purchases over $100 regardless of weight.

Well you can sign contracts. CP used to be 700 packages per year min but I think it now changed to 1200.
This is one of the reasons I really do support their strike. They are a key component to lots of online businesses including the weed biz. They timed their strike perfectly. Funny how none of the green rushers anticipated they would want their cut lol

Cheers :)

This is the email I received within a couple hours of ordering.

Your order has been received and is being processed, all items with
exception of the Grozone TP12 will be going out tomorrow morning. We are
waiting and expecting this item to arrive tomorrow afternoon, and will
have it packaged and out to you as soon as it is received here.

Our apologies for any inconvenience this may cause. Thank you for your
order.

I have always been happy with ordering from these guys.

Cheers :)

I just ordered 5LBS of stuff from www.growlights.ca and they have free shipping on all orders over $99. Got 12 fabric pots, 1L velokelp, 1L nature's Candy, 1L micro and 50 Rapidrooters for $168. Took 7 days via Purolator.

Don't add Holland Industry anymore please. Having recently dealt with them I can say that they're completely incompetent in doing business and I'd NEVER send anyone their way since there's a 99% chance they'll have a hassle.
I agree, bought quite a few things, took forever to get , then they tried to get me to accept a canfilter 66 for same price as a canfilter 50 WTF(2 weeks after first part of order showed up late which price difference is a big loss for me if I accepted it) . Then everything came packed in damp cardboard boxes that stank. Real a-holes full of excuses

I make my own small batches of composted soil from store bought soils and potato peels..veg scraps, egg shells..saw dust ..coffee grounds..moist store bought soil is ok..but comes with bug larva..so I digest it with compost in anaerobic pails..for 6 months..kills all the bugs..and microbes digest until air runs out..then putrification bacteria does rest..I buy worm castings and sphagnum peat moss at wallmart..get my cheap-o pots there too.

Home Depot does have a lot of stuff for lighting and buckets..switches..timers,..bulbs..I use vinegar 7% pickling vin (acetic acid Acetic acid (CH3COOH), or C2H4O2 also called ethanoic acid, the most important of the carboxylic acids. ) as my ph down and regular tap water as my ph up..for my cloned tub..since we can only have 4 plants at a time legally in Canada..I grow clones to augment backup mothers in veg..so I have 12 slot 2 gal dwc..with clear and dark domes..but rarely use more than 4 spots up..I premix my water and titrate ph for two jugs of filtered tap water..never use RO or distilled..I aim for 5.5 ph on each jug..(1 gal) 4 litre..or one at 6.0 one at 5.2..

Just a tip..I found that even using those cheap ph/light/ moisture testers work well in water tests (and soil) ..but I take samples from the tote into a 250 ml beaker (wine making supplies).. The direct water test (at DWC) with probes does not read accurately in bubbling water with high oxygen count..always do your ph fro a sample in a regulated jar or beaker..you can do your titration (add small amounts of ph up/down) to your bubbling caldron and wait a few minutes and test again..or pour your sample back in after you add the up/down to it..wait 5 minutes and test again..with the cheap ph tester..I have to leave probes sit in sample for 6 to 8 minutes to allow it to level off..or I will be chasing false readings and might over titration the water in dwc..

I used to test water samples for big oil companies all day every day..so I applied same principals to my dwc propagater.

Hope my info helps someone!

Yepper, some jiffy peat pucks boxes, old mirror box, bunch of other boxes, took my half an hour to cut them all up WTF
half of it looked like it came out of a dumpster lol
Real gems they are , more excuses than can shake stick at, took almost month to get everything in the end, worst online buying experience I ever had, the dude says hey maybe we can give you a little discount next time...yeah right! go pound salt Holland Industry ....bunch of asian scammers..oh and when I tried to block my number as they wouldn't answer me anymore asking when the heck I would get my stuff(and I was polite about it) they have a call block feature unless you ID your number you can't get through...stay way way away from these guys. I am searching for new local place any luck? Price is a factor of course, but made me wary with that buying experience , price is not everything.

I help an elderly neighbor of mine with various things. One being getting his wood pellets and stacking the bags in his house. There was a few times last year the smell of catpiss was unfucking real from them. There was some moisture in the pallet between the bags.
Anyway I know the smell you are talking about and it is disgusting. Hard to even wash off your hands after handling.

Cheers :)
