Canadian Stuff

They are eating their cats and dogs. Now they're killing Canadians!
Douchebags like the Governor of Maine have come up to the Maritimes to try to guilt us back to their fascist shithole, while completely ignoring that armed, masked thugs are snatching people off the street.

In fact, the Yankee version of the story doesn't even mention our concerns:

In the CBC coverage, there is a little more reality:

"Mills said Maine has among the lowest crime rates in the U.S. and Canadians should feel secure hiking, skiing, swimming and shopping there.

"You can do that safely," she said."

Immediately after, the evil, greedy POS followed up with:

"She acknowledged as governor she has no control over how the U.S. Border Patrol or Immigration and Customs Enforcement operate in the state."

Fuck right off, you scum, you trash, you fucking weasel bitch.
Begging for our money while not giving a damn if we ever make it home is straight up evil.

ahh once again forever forgetting the territories, just kinda like they do with housing and food issues.
Although unfortunate that the territories (which account for over 30% of Canada's land mass and .32% of it's population) weren't included/represented, the survey wasn't done by the government as the notion of a 51st state is more of a fringe/hypothetical topic that doesn't warrant a formal survey.

Anyone else finding themselves pulling back from Americans in general? I'm on a number of special interest forums and it just seems like there is an undercurrent of ugliness, of distrust and uncertainty, whenever Canadians and Yanks interact these days.

It reminds me of stories of the Vietnam war, where the soldiers never knew if the smiling local had a grenade in his pocket. You don't know if the person you've been interacting with hates you and is actually in favour of the destruction of you and your country. It's unnerving and as a result, I just find myself avoiding them altogether whenever possible.
