Canadian cannabis workers targeted by U.S. border guards for lifetime bans

This is a ridiculous argument,. I have a hand gun, do I need to leave Canada. FYI, you can own handguns in Canada legally.

Itsme.
Sure you can own a handgun - my father has one and my brother has several. They need to be kept in a locked box separate from ammunition. Not exactly practical in a self-defense scenario and opposite of what is allowed in most states... and our incidents of gun violence reflects that. I chose guns randomly - it could be any law. My point was if the US can ban Canadians for following Canadian law, Canada can reciprocate with US citizens.

There's an old international treaty prohibiting cannabis that Nixon foisted on the world.

Considering that the US isn't following the treaty anymore itself, I believe your point is still valid.
