As a licensed Med mj user and grower, the process is a pain in the ass but well worth it... get teh forms from the health canada website.... learn, teach yourself and educate your doctors.... my was only to glad when I told him I didnt want 36 mgs a day of Hydromorph....

Also the usual limits are from 1 to 5 grams a day... do not be stupid and try for 5 g's a day off the fly.... 3g's a day of primo medical bud with get you toasted all day....

looks good tho. i'm not a cfl fan myself, but u gotta love the purple in the leaves. definately time to dry. let that puppy cure for a few weeks before a taste, then roll a big gagger...

ya no matter what those activist sites say, they're not gonna help a guy in bum-fuk no where sask. gotta help urself, go to ur family doctor, or the doc that knows u the most. only way, unless u get really lucky...

and figure out whether ur B1 or B2 applicant. B1's like me are usually no questions asked. someone was saying to fill out the form so he can just fill out the amount and sign it, but the doc's gotta fill out the whole form, so u better have a good relationship with him so he'll do it. he just needs to do it once, lasts forever, unless u have the amount changed or mode of consumption

here is mine so far. just under 20 days flowering

So two days ago I started germinating 8 seeds. 4 mixed indicas and 4 skunk x/haze1. This morning most of the seeds had cracked so I put them all in 1.5" rockwool cubes(pre- soaked in water ph 5.4-5.9). I put the Cubes in a tray with a dome and placed the tray under 2 40watt 6500k cfls. Temp in dome is 80 as is humidity. Temp in cabinet is 72. Lights are on 24/7 and 1/2" from the top of the dome. I just mixed a bottle of ph water to keep cubes damp and I was wondering If I should Add a little b-1 or plantacillin? How's everything sound so far? I will post some pics once they break through.....Any input Canucks?

Speaking of which... Any Vancouver Canucks fans here?

went out of town last night and came back tonight. Thought I would come home to some damp rockwool cubes but i was surprised. 3 of the mixed indica seeds have sprouted and the 4th is just breaking the surface. the other 4 cubes are the skunk/haze...seem to take a little longer.

i am misting with ph'd water and i added a small amount of B+. just picked up the heat mat today so hopefully the rise in temp will help.

Time to get my cabinet set up with the 250MH

They look great!

I just had some seeds pop as well. Strains are African Kwazulu, Blueberry and Alaskan Ice. They are now at 6 days in:

Kwazulu


Blueberry


Alaskan Ice



Had the wierdest thing happen with the Alaskan Ice. The seed popped 2 days later then the others and wiggled it's way right out of the soil. I came in one morning to check em and she was lying on top of the soil with a 3 inch tap root just sitting there! Reburied her and luckily it survived.

Feeding them all a very light dose of superthrive, b+ and 1-52-10 fert for root growth.

Would love to see how those seedlings come along, keep us posted!

At what point should i remove sprouted seedlings from the dome if others have not sprouted yet?

Looking good ladies and gents, lets keep on keeping Canada green.
I'm having some trouble right now and was wondering if I could possibly get some good help and answers. Plus REP for all useful info.
I need to get an inline fan.
My dimentions are 2 x 2.5 x 8' closet.
I use a 400 watt hps.
Was wondering how many cfm's I should be using and how can you find out how much air changes and how often should it be changed?
I heard 170 & 190 cfm's, for my small closet.
Good info would be greatly appreciated.
I used to use cfl's and led's, now using the hps, and can't close the closet door in the winter with the window open here in N.S. so I won't be able to grow in there when the temps warm up without an inline fan to suck out the hot air. I'll be damned if I go back to the cfl's and led's after seeing the diff between them. Hps all the way baby!!!!!!!
So please give a fellow Canadian Grower some help..............

Personally I remove my seedlings from the humidity dome after the first set of true leaves are fully formed. Usually by the 3rd day after they break surface. Mind my veg room humidity is quite high. As long as your keeping them warm and they look healthy, you can remove them from the dome. Just keep an eye on them and make sure they don't dry out. I made this mistake with one of mine and it dried out slightly, was starting to slump over a bit but 5 minutes after watering it perked right back up. Lesson learned!

170 & 190's would be plenty. I run a 178 cmf in a 8x12 room and it's worked out great! There's a great site called canadian wholesale hydroponics. they sell the best packages iv'e seen in canada, very good service too. Here's the info on the combo I bought...

Basically the air in the room should be exchanged every 5 minutes.

So 2 x 2.5 x 8 = 40 cubic feet.

You want all the air in the room to be exchanged after 5 minutes, so you would divide 40/5 and you get 8.

So 8 CFM would be optimal for your closet. I don't know of any issues having too much cfm (unless you cause an air pressure imbalance). You could use a computer fan or simply stick a fan blowing into your closet. But this is just to ensure the plants get fresh air and so the co2 levels don't deplete.

Is the issue with heat? If so then you will want to exchange much faster, 3-5 times a minute. In that case, you'd want 120-200 cfm.
