Can you wire 120 MM CPU fans in series?

I have a 9V battery characger or something, I know I can hook up one fan to it, but can I hook up 2 to the same charger by wiring them in series? How would I do this?

Parallel. Hook all the plusses together and all the minuses together.

Serial won't work, each fan would only get 6 volts.

Thanks for the input!

Hook up all the pluses and minuses? How would that work out 0_0.

Could you draw a diagram or further explain? Thanks for the info on the volts btw, didnt know that lol, I thought voltage was constant.

Hook all the pluses together

Then

Hook all the minuses together

I figured it was obvious enough you wouldn't be connecting them all in one lump.

if you're worried at all about putting the fans further apart you can pick up wire from a hardware store.

Also, when putting a fan to a power adapter, test the lines by touching the fan's wires to the adapter's wire. This also tests the fan's blow direction. This way you can figure out which wire you need to be hot, while maintaining the fan's natural blow direction. (at least thats what I did and it worked for me... no guarantees here haha. i don't know every variable of your setup)

Also, if you have a soldering iron, you can create joints between the wires with a bit of solder and cover them up with electrical tape. a little more secure/solid than using caps.

If you're working with a CPU fan and a power adapter, check out: https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/8402-how-turn-pc-fan-into.html

Hmmm, Would it be like this? The big red/black circles are where I solder/connect the wires.

green things are the fans, other thing is the power adapter 9V.

thats good, be sure that total number mA from fans does not exceed mA output from the adapter..

you should only run 1. I just did a test run with 2 120mm pc fans and 1 ran strong and one was wimpy. I rewired it to just one a piece a they both ran good. Make sure you dont put to much power and not have the supply

I have a 1500mA/12v DC adapter. a 120MM fan is about 300-400 mA, so in theory nothing should be slowing down.
