Can you tell? Sativa or Indica?

Also be aware that sativas can really stretch. I got one so tall I had to hang a light right up by the ceiling just to stay above it. It is easily 6 feet above an 8 inch clay pot. I hope you have head room.

the height of your plant is ALWAYS controlable with light height, chosen method, and pot size plus other factors...if your plant reached 6 ft its because you let it do so. i personally never see an advantage to growing a plant past about 2-4 feet due to lack of light penetration. anything taller doesnt feel optimal

I would agree. Unless outdoors or something I suppose. Smaller means smaller buds too. It is easier to control bud rot, etc with a smaller plant.

I disagree that smaller plants = smaller buds. If you train it right you can harvest quite a bit from a 2-4ft plant and still have massive colas

I realize ultimately I may just have to "wait and see"...however...the wait is SO LONG! LOL I understand (correct me if I'm wrong) but Sativas take longer than Indicas to mature? Can anyone tell by the pics what strain I have? I put shots from a couple weeds ago and shots today. Seeds given to me by a friend - Im sure I'm fortunate to have gotten this far :-?

Looks like a little more Indica than Sativa, but the one I have going right now started out that way too, then in it's age, seems to be showing more Sativa.

Compared to a clone of the same plant a bigger one is PROBABLY going to have bigger buds, but thank you for arguing over something stupid. Arguing just to argue is really neat. Let me guess... You have one grow under your belt and now you're an expert? Whens the book coming out?

lol... I latched onto a couple of veterans. I read a ton of books, and posts, looked at tons of pics, but I've been doing this for like 3+ years non stop now, and still don't know shit. I try to find the guys that have been doing it for 10 years, 20 years etc. You can read all day, but the best info I've gotten was from talking to the guys who have actually been there. It's like the military. They can train you all day, but when you get there you better be talking to the guys that have been living it. I've been reading about this over 10 years now, but only doing it for 3 years or so. I've gained more knowledge doing it than reading about it that's for sure.
