Can you re-harvest?

You want to flower out and reveg the same plant for years? I've heard of that being done five or six times and eventually the maintenance required, like frequent root trimming, for instance, get's to be either to big a PITA or creates an unhealthy situation in the plants medium leading to decline. Better to just take cuttings from your plants in the stretch and start over from there. No need to even keep a mother that way.
 
i have heard of people revegging and getting more the second or third time around, the only downfall might be like smokinrav said the root trimming and medium decline depending on what your using
 
Thanks for the advice! It is some killer smoke! i tied it down to make all the buds grow upward. so it is the way i like it. would like to keep it budding. The light changes only by 2 hours here all year long,its always budding season! so it should just keep on budding , right? or will it just revert bac into a veg state even though the light does not change.? what do you all think?
 
yea it should keep budding as long as you didnt cut off all the leaves and i beleive your suppose to leave some of the lower small buds in place i have never tried but from what i have read your not suppose leave it just bare stems you need to leave some foliage on the plant
 
Cloning is your best option for a continual grow from a stable parent. Take the side stems though and not the top. :peace:

who says you gotta prune/trim roots when reverting to veg? thats total nonsense
 
i don't think one person has even read what is really going on here.

he lives in south america.
it is 12/12 most of the year.
how long will a plant continue to flower?

Oh OK. I saw pics of an Aussie cannabis plan that was 20' tall and 25' across. The owner said it never died off and revegged itself every year, yileding up to 10 lbs anually. Most amazing pot plant I've ever seen. I'll try and find pics, but it was years ago at Overgrow that I first heard of it.
 
I am starting to take off the buds this sunday. So I will post some pics by early next week. My light gos from 11 to 13 hours it does not change anymore than that. this is my 2 nd year here. the climate does not drop below 60 and it RAINS alot.

Willow like the try , can yo eloborate? like soak leaves or end of a branch or bark. there has to me to the willow !

Regenerating Marijuana Plants

Did you know it's totally possible to harvest a crop and then rejuvenate the marijuana plants into a vegetative state for a 2nd or more harvesting. When you harvest your plants for the first time, remove only about 1/2 to 1/3 of the very top buds. Leave the little bottom buds and small leaves. Throw the plant back into a vegetative state atmosphere i.e. change light timers and fertilizer. Pay attention and make sure the regenerating plants have enough nitrogen. This should ensure not too many of the remaining leaves will fall off. You should see new leaf growth in about 7 to 14 days. You'll notice the buds getting fatter and maybe adding more crystal to themselves. Allow the plant to grow at least a little bit before you go after those nice new phat buds on the bottom. Some friends have experimented with cloning at this point. It's pretty cool watching a bud get cloned and start to grow again. You can grow your new 2nd generation marijuana plant outside or inside, your choice. It seems 30 days is the going norm for growers to re-harvest. If you are into time schedules for new clones or seedlings and mature buds for harvest, this technique can fill any time gaps waiting for buds to mature. Pretty simple eh?

So if it does not come out of he bud cycle it should remain budding as long as it has buds to mature?
since the light wont change

so it's been outside all it's life? how big was it when it first started budding? did it even go thru a veg cycle?

this is all really interesting to me. i have never spoken with someone in this type of time zone. :peace:
