those are neoprene clone starters...what are these called??
the round things that sits on top of the nets..their is a little slice on the side of them for the plants to fit through..

thanks man im wanna start hyrdo and iv seen some system with and with out them.
i assume it helped keep the light from gettin through the grow medieum..
but i didnt know what they were called..

You can also make your own from beer cozys =) I happened to have a few lying around when I did mine.
