I was given this seed by a friend and was told that the plant could potentially be psychoactive. Can you identify it using the pictures below?

it does look a little like a poppy seed.

however, there are 100's of strains of poppies, and only a few have any psychoactive properties at all, and only the opium poppy has an appreciable amount....the chances of that being an actual opium poppy seed are pretty slim. throw it in a pot, if it grows a pretty red flower, you may be on to something
