I agree. I think OP would be shocked by how much denser and how much volume they would get with better lights. They did great for a first grow.
Yeah. More light brings a lot more challenge though- Humidity, nutrients, heat, etc... Lot of small grows turn out like this- low weight but good quality because its almost hard to fuck up.

Appreciate all the comments, positive or negative. As some pointed out, was CFLs... I know other lights will produce better bud, but for my first grow, CFLs were the affordable and economic choice for me to start with. I will say that after everything I read here and other forums about CFLs my expectations were set extremely low, so perhaps this is why I am pleasantly surprised with the quality of bud I ended up with, even though as some of you pointed out, isn't anything to be proud of.

You did a lot better than most people on their first try. HPS lights are actually pretty damn cheap especially if you buy a used ballast/hood and put a new bulb in. Or those cute little 150W for 77$ on amazon look like they would be perfect for micro grows.
