Can you get caught growing in a tent?

Sorry for this idiotic question?
I have a big tent I just purchased, and there are choppers that come out every now and then and try to catch crop growers via infra-red. I am wondering if my tent will block ALL of this, I have bought infra-red sheating and just thick layers of stuff to stick over the tent just for extra securities.

Thanks for your help.

Infra-red detects heat doesn't it? If you're putting off heat, infra-red will read a heat signature.

Also, it really depends on what you have heat wise and the building it is in. If you have a hot spot on a 34x36 garage, no biggy, could be anything.. a wood stove, gas heater, etc. BUT, if you have a 10x10 shed and the thing is glowing like the bat signal, that will set off a red flag.

Your timing is all in personal preference. 6am to 12pm is exactly what I do in Veg. In flower, 6am to 6pm. You can do whatever hours you want but these are the ones I pick due to my schedule. I'm up at 6 and I'm asleep at 12. So they should be too :)

6:00 A.M-12:00 A.M will be better considering that the eye in the sky will be flying mostly from 12:00-4:00 A.M just have good exhaust leaving the tent and going out through a chimney or attic to cover suspicion of heat. The material that tents are made out is highly thermal resistant and should trap most heat within the tent but it's always better to be safer than sorry state police should be no problem considering if you are a MMJ patient or live in the new "legal" states.

I agree with Krondizzel on this one, If your not running more than 2- 1000watt lights, dont worry about a heat signature, worry about friends and family, thats what I do!!!

I thought it was determined in court that they couldnt jus fly around looking for heat sig? thought it was an article about boston, but i could be wrong.

i love the tents tho. easy to tear down and pack away if needed, everything is self contained for the most part. very nice for the average small indoor gardener.

I think they do it on suspicion, it's difference here in UK

It's called pretextual.

600w, don't even worry about that. My 6000w setup doesn't even set off a heat sig.

I don't follow any rules. I'm also smarter than the average bear so... this helps also. I also know the fox can be outsmarted, so I don't get too cocky about it.

You will never see the part about them using IR in the court case or the warrant
They will make up the rest of the shit for that

^^ right, there is always that to consider also i guess. I know not all cops are pricks, but i am fairly positive the majority of them have questionable morals and character.
