can you be arrested if there is a ban on mmj?

so i have been hearing that there are bans on mmj dispensaries in certain counties in mmj states such as cali. and i hear these bans are actually preventing dispensaries from running. so my question is, if mmj is legal in your state and a ban comes into affect, can you be arrested for growing or purchasing mmj?

I know that people like Irvin Rosenfeld, a federal recipient of medical marijuana, was grandfathered in when the program was closed. The people that were lucky enough to become a part of the program before it was shut down are still receiving medical marijuana from the federal government. If laws ever changed I would hope people with legitimate medical problems would be grandfathered in. But to be honest I think we are getting closer to legalization than we are to reverting to the ignorant days of the past.

A county in my state that I was living in, recently decided to ban MMJ growing within their county. So I moved. lol But to answer your question, yes you can get arrested for growing in an MMJ state if the county that you live in decides to ban it. As far as smoking, no. As long as you follow your states MMJ laws, you'll be fine. I live in CO.
