I am doing my first grow, im germing now and since i knowledge thirsty. I know serious breeding is out of my league since i have yet to even be successful growing but i still want to try as a kind of science project, just to see if i can get it to work. I germed 4 fem nirvana Blue Mystic and my box can only hold 2 full size. I plan on picking the 2 that are most healthy/uniform for ease of cfl light moving. my question is as soon as i pick my plants maybe 2 weeks into veg can i pick the best of the two i didnt use and turn it into a pollen producing female using a colloidial silver right away instead of vegging further, In effect making a much smaller "guy". I think it should still produce pollen and the same genetics it would if i grew it larger.... am i right? also how long can i keep pollen for without it going bad? Thanks

You are correct. You really only need one male but to answer your question, yes, just pick two and put them to flower and use CS. Sometimes younger plants take a little longer to show sex, but not always, it's strain dependent. Some people go 12/12 from seed with certain strains, especially sativas.
As for pollen, I've heard people store pollen for several months, bit I've never seen any hard data on the topic. Maybe someone else has.

Keep your two NICEST plants for the CFL box.
Grow them and enjoy :]
Pick the nicest one, and take like 1-4 clones before you flower her. Just to keep the genetics around, each individual you have is better or worse than their sister.
You'll find your favorite.
The weaker two, are at the mercy of your experiments.
CS them if you'd like, expect quite a while for flower formation if they're young.
Size doesn't matter unless you have a ruderelis. Which is based on age.
I've heard that mixing pollen with flour at a 5:1 ratio (I don't know if it's 5 parts flour to one part pollen or vice versa)
Pollen doesn't store for TOO long, but should store long enough for you to use it.
