can someone help me i joined this site to post a grow journal and it wont let me

i jined here just to post a journal and maybe get some tips or advice but when I go to make my first journal post it says I am not allowed
 
by becoming an active member of the website welcome to riu if you need help and questions about your plants its best to make a thread in newbie central and people will help
 
ok well I don't really need help I just wanted to keep a journal and maybe get some input but being an active member is a broad spectrum... I don't believe I know enough or have grown long enough to offer advice. do I just need to read and make comments on peoples threads or is it a time based thing
 
its both time, posts, and likes received . we have MANY different forum areas
gaming, cooking, general talking, art, technology, sports, music

Yeah just give it a little time and effort it will be worth it then you can start your journal. also remember to check your settings for viewing/access options to make sure it all in order the way you like
