Can Ruderalis be the more dominant gene in a strain?

Hey how's it going fellow growers.
This was my first autoflower run I've done, I've run photoperiods in the past but thought I'd give autoflowers a shot.
My question is, can the ruderalis trait be the dominant gene in a strain? I have two autoflowers going from a lesser known breeder Garden of Green seed company. I have their blueberry cookies auto and GSC auto going at the moment, both are supposed to be siding on the Indica family. The GSC have all the Indica traits in her leaves but the blueberry cookies look like a sativa at best if not siding more on the Ruderalis side. I will post a pic and if anyone can give me some advice it would be appreciated. I have heard Ruderalis have nothing more than 2.5% THC and is a waste of time. Should I just get rid of her if she is pure Ruderalis? She definitely does not look like a heavy indica by the looks of her leaves.

Well GSC is a specific cut of a certain cross, so even photoperiod GSC seeds won't give you the same outcome as the real clone. Then you start adding Ruderalis to the mix, and you are way even further from the actual genetics. You get autos from the recessive "auto-flowering" gene which comes from ruderals. When you cross a pure auto like ruderalis with a photo the outcome is plants which are photos, but have that recessive auto gene. If you take those plants which have the recessive gene and cross them together, the outcome is 25% normal photo plants, 50% photo plants with an auto gene, and 25% pure auto plants. Then to stabilize the line to make it pure auto, you take two autos and cross them together. can you see how far you've gone now from the real thing?

Thanks for the replys guys. Much appreciated. Just gonna keep her going and see what happens. Think lesson learnt is don't buy genetics from lesser known breeders, all in all that is definitely not a indica that I paid for. Thanks and all the best

Hybrids do that, all sorts of wild phenos pop out in the leaf structure and node spacing until you stabilize the line. His looks like he has some straight up landrace sativa in his line.

You are growing a hybrid and their expressions will vary. I am not sure GoG is a lesser-known breeder. I have heard of and grown at least one of their strains. Sweetberry Cough was pretty darn tasty.
