um not if you use it right...... Not all hydrponic systems use net pots and you can even still us a net pot with screen in it or something.

Well I'm doing the hempy bucket thing on my two survivors and the Perlite mixed with Vermiculite (sic) mixed 3 to 1 in favor of the Perlite works great in the buckets. Can't really see how it could work in a net pot. If you put a screen in the pot to hold in the Perlite how the roots gonna pass through the screen when it starts growing? I'm here to learn so kindly splains it to me Thanks.
