No risk no reward, and it don't always go smoothly. You can see she needs it. Don't procrastinate till week 4 like me!

I just don't really know what the risk is lol... Just slow growth from recovery? Cuz I don't feel like that's a huge risk or is there something I'm missing?

The "risk" would be accidentally breaking off half the root ball and having this set back be greater than leaving in a root bound pot. Risk was not the right word for me to use unless this is your life saving medicine. I dont think you are missing anything.

The “risk” is transplant shock in flower. If it goes well you should be okay I suppose. If there is shock it will simply affect your final yields to some degree. Much safer to be in your final pot and fully recovered before switch.

You have to consider a couple things. If you leave your plant in the small planter you will see issues arise that have to be dealt with, and a decreased yield because of pot size. If you transplant, you may have to deal with issues, but the increased yield will be worth it.

I have transplanted from 5 gallon buckets to 20+ gallon planters and have reaped the rewards.

With me it’s the old saying, you don’t know if you don’t try. And if you try, you will get better at it for next time.
