Can I switch to 12/12 with this issue homies?

Medium: premium grade soil (decided on coco perlite next grow)
Lighting: single 600whps
Ventiltion: yes
Room temp: 27-30 day 23-26 night
R/H: 48% steady
Nutrients: H & G soil a + b
additives: Nutrifield cargo boost, fulife, root nectar, veg ignitor. And for flowering i will be using NF Bud burst, pk heavy, crystalic and flavor savior. (All bites at about 2/3 reccomended dose and ph'ed and ec'ed accordingly before fed
Strain: unknown a friend gave me a seed. Seems to be sativa Dom.
Plant height: 2 foot, 60cm
Watering every 3 days or so whenever my moisture meter tells me to. Feeding every water
PH run off is between 5.9 and 6.3


This is my first grow and like everyone else I'm really excited and can't leave it alone. Haha.I'm at about week 4 in veg. I know the 600whps is overkill for one plant but it has some distance from the plant and the temps are fine. Electricity bill won't be an issue. I'm only growing one as a test run before I spend money at a seed bank so I'm just testing the waters. Your all expert mother fuckers so can anyone tell me if I'm doing okay? I'll upload some photos although my phone cant handle the light spectrum but its the only photos I can upload currently. I haven't just jumped on here and started posting ive done a huge amount of research with countless forums and books involved. I think I get the general idea. One thing I'm worried about is the fact that I decided on defoliating my plant yesterday and only now realising my plant height limit is 1.4 meters to be safe from light burn so I'll need to start flowering very soon as it is already 60 centimeters tall and with 8-10 weeks of flowering could potentially blow up twice its size right? What I'm worried about is that I JUST defoliated and I'm concerned that I shouldn't put it into flower while its so naked but at the same time I can grow much higher. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated. Or any opinions on the general health of the plant. Not a single leaf has ever been discoloured or has any sort of defficiency.

Sounds good bro. Height issues def consider going to flower right away. Hard to see on pics, but sounds like it's very healthy. Only advice. Don't overthink and overdo it. Some noobs mess with their plants too much. I have discovered. Looks good what I see and hear. I'm a give you a 98. I was just thinking about a coco perlite mix, just today as a matter of fact for a hempy bucket. Seems like a good idea.

Thanx for the reply budd, do you think it being so naked will affect its Budd production If I switch to 12/12?

Im assuming by naked you mean not bushy and filled out? It's hard to analyze your pics. Maybe it's my eyes. Looks fine to me. you just trying to grow some good smoke? Going for mega yield? If I were gonna veg longer than 2 weeks and I'm worried about height I would do some topping or training. I've had height issues and you just never know what's it gonna do in flower from seed. I've had tall and lanky and short and bushy from the same pack. I lean toward the conservative side and don't usually worry too much about yield and what not. As long as it's green, fuggetaboutit. Just my method. I think you would do well to start flower at any time. Or you can grow u a tree. Up to you bro.
