Can i start a outdoor grow now? TEXAS!!!

Ok so I live in southern Texas and I was wondering if I would get any kind of yield if I started a plant right now. So it's still pretty hot down here, what I'm wondering is if the winter light cycle coming up will force the plant to flower and I'll get some kind of a yield, or if this would fail miserably. Wont the 12/12 force the plant to flower? Any input is appreciated

flowering actually is suppose to start some time in july and by the time 12/12 hits the plant should be ready, i would not start if i were you missed the season

well i live in australia and planted a 10 plant crop like a month before winter they all grew about 4 ft high and started buding now it has gone into spring and my buds just keep getting bigger and bigger
