I was licensed in real estate and an HOA can easily toss you out for repeatedly violating a federal law...
Why are you jumping on cookie for stating how it is? I live in a very lenient medical state but if your lease (or for this arguments sake, your HOA agreement) states no illegal drug use and you use illegal drugs - which like cookie pointed out goes by the federal index, you can be evicted.
I don't think anyone here is saying that it is likely but you asked the question... You need to have someone complain - so don't have anyone complain.
