Can i save the plant after harvest?

my harvest time is coming up soon, and since its spring now i was wondering if after i clip the buds i could leave the leaves on the plant, cut it back a bit and take it outside were it would get plenty of sunlight. will this make the plant go back to veg and regrow again?

if you change its enviroment it may be affected. just cut it back dont be shy, ive done it with outdoor crops and it worked
