I have my plants in a cardboard box and the lights are like through holes and shit... its complicated.. but i was just wondering if i painted the walls of the box white while the plants where in there if the fumes or anything could harm the plant growth? my to sprouts are only about an inch tall....

if you have a dehumidifier available, it should help to drastically cut down the drying time of the paint... plus you're working with a cardboard box, how long could it really take to paint and dry. Why don't you take the plants out for the few hours needed and keep them under the lights while you finish getting the container ready?

because the plants are in a large bucket type thing... and the box is like attached to the edge of the top of the box. because if i were to just set the bucket in the box it would take up all the space for the girls to grow.

"...and the box is like attached to the edge of the top of the box"

This makes no sense at all. Any chance you post some pics of the setup?
