Can I just crumble and case these?

So this is my first grow and i've got two cakes that haven't done anything since birth (might have put em in a tad bit early). They're pretty white and they aren't blue at all, but they've been in the FC for about two and a half weeks now. Should I just stay patient and wait or would it be possible to just crumble them up and case? Thanks

I'd get some verm and horse-shit and pasteurize that...drain to field capacity....then crumble the cakes in a ziplock into small pieces...then spawn to the shit in a glove box and cover with tinfoil with a few small holes (I use a fork) and wait until the top is white.....wait a week for colonization and dump the tray into the FC...mist and fan a few times a day and be patient....hth

Thanks man, i'm gonna try that out. So like a casserole dish will work for colonizing the spawn/shit?

I use kitty litter boxes for trays...cheap and easy to find...*hint*: buy new ones....used is just so ghetto....and spawn 3 parts shit to 1 part spawn....hth

So about how much spawn/shit do you use for each tray?

I dunno...it ain't brain surgery...I fill the trays to 3-4 inch depth...2/3's shit 1/3 verm...then I eye-ball the spawn...maybe it needs 3.5 pints of spawn...it gets 4...I'm a lazy grower and don't record my efforts...I just go form what worked last time...good growing friend...)
