Can i hang dry in my closet with my light??

Was wondering if i can hang dry in my closet as i have no place to do it and with the first 1 i just took i did it in a cardboard box and well now thats how it smells lol...But i have it in ziplock bowl now to cure as i dont have any jars...Anyways am i able to do this??thanks !!!

I wouldnt hang it anywhere with too much exposure to light. if you can, hang it in there while the light is off, and if possible move it to another dark place for the rest of the time. If hanging in the dark isnt an option, ive used drawers and paper bags too, but you need to provide fresh air at times and flip and rotate the nugs so they dry evenly and dont smush together. Hope this helps, but I would try hanging in closet with light off and maybe moving to another room, closet, bathroom, anywhere dark for the rest of the time. The paper bag and drawers is last resort status for me.

Thanks puff ill do that leave it in the when dark and then ill have to figure something else out i guess...Just sucks cuz im running autos and 18/6 sheduale so not much dark time for them..But ill put it in there for 3 days when i can i guess, cuz im sure by then it will be ready to cure becuz of the paper bag or drawer sucking air out to so shouldnt take to long...

I would not worry at all about light during drying. Outdoors commercial crops are dried in the sun and can still have great potency and flavor. Storage and handling is what makes commercial crap sometimes.


Once it is dry, then keep it away from heat and light.

I think I'm going to make a box out of black poly and run a 4 inch exhaust to my grow tent with a passive intake on the other end. That should create negative pressure and my buds will be in the dark. The smell should be vented through the filters in my tent. Hope it works.

GL bro....I'm hating the way the nugs r smelling in the plastic bowl, if u sqeeze the nug then smells great but its not smelling the best unless sqeezed...Is this from me putting them in card board box cuz thats kindof what it smells like...
