can i grow with 1x25w cfl

i have 4 plants under a 25w cfl on a 12/12 lighting cycle. i got the plants off a friend i wondered if they will grow at all

you can't grow a shit with one 25 watter

no you need at least 2500 lumens min 1 cfl at 20w gives 1150lumens hope this helps

thnx iv got a 20w 6500k bulb and a 25w 2700k buld cud i use them both to bloom

it will, but it will looks like a snake or ivy and it will never finish it's life cycles

no way you need more CFLs then that man 1 24w CFL puts out 2,700 Lumes

cud i use a 2700k an a 6500k at the same time???

not even jus til i cn get a better bulb(s)

the question isnt "if you can" its why would you want to? dont be an idiot your just gonna end up with 4 plants so streached that they fall over when they flower... if ur just doing it to see how long theyll live then go ahead... if ur actully expecting something then i would invest a few bucks into some more bulbs

I've been using warm white for veg and going to be using it for flowering and my girls seem to be doing fine

i use 6x20w cfl at 1150 lumens each also 2x12w cfl at 750 lumens so aprox 8000 lumens i have not had much trouble useing this light rig it sits about inch and a half from top of plant temputre sits at 75-80 with fan on peeks to 88 with fan off see attached pic hope it helps

looks nice colid my flower room sits at 20.1C with the fan off and 20.1C with the fan on

i jus went to my local hydro shop n got an envirolite 125w 2700k, is dat 4 now ok cuz i wont hav much money til nex week

if your keeping it in veg yea it should be fine

i have a question that kinda pertains to this topic. i used a heat lamp (snake light) i know, shitty and i should prolly get something better. but currently the two plants i have growing have been growning really nice! i keep a sharp eye out for the light distance to make sure i dont burn the leaves, but i just use a regular household 75 watt soft white light bulb. i keep hearing all these , CLF's and lumens and liek 1500 and 2200 numbers and i really dont know what the difference is between all of them lights and the light i have. can someone give me a general idea of what the difference is. and is it really nessisary to change my light? i have my space covered in foil but i notice that the very bottom leaves die, i believe twice now, but then they grow two more right back.. if i ad a proper light would there leaves grow out to be big and just as good as th others?
