balcony grows usually dont yield very much and especially with cold temps, just make sure to bring them in at night and maybe think about some supplemental lighting like a cfl hookup on 12/12 (nightime so your opposite of the sun) that should boost your yield dramatically.

autos are tough you can grow them most places as long as temps stay under 110F and over 35F (sorry I dont know Celsius)
