Can I flower my plant?

What will be the yield do you think? Cause that one guy said a pound which was wild
Never ask that question. There are too many factors, so no one would even be able to take a wild guess. I'd say, if you're using HID, closer to the breeder's estimate. If LED, maybe like.. 3/4 of what HID would yield or something, but to great quality still. CFL, I couldn't even begin. But even this is just a shot in the dark. Because besides light and strain, you have your medium and nutes to consider, how you choose to train it, how much stress you apply and how much it slows down, time in veg, etc.

technically you can flower your plants anytime even from seed or clone. I would put it in a 7-10 gallon pot, top the shit out of it, then get a nice yield. One big factor on yield is your strain and sometimes even the pheno of that strain. Another is optimal grow conditions so guessing with little info can be difficult. if i had to shoot out a quick guesstimate it would be from 4 to 20 grams.
What does it mean to top it and train it??

..You're going to be more specific. Because both of those things can mean a whole host of other things. ;P

Topping is clipping the topmost vertical growth or any grow that causes the plant to maintain a vertical path, to encourage outward growth and usually produces 2-4 extra colas. Training, like LST, if anything you do to expose the leaves to more light to promote better growth.

1 week into flowering, she's looking beautiful. About 23 inches tall with one topping. Her pistils are there and a bunch of white hairs are growing. With height increase which would be between 46 and 69 inches, what should I expect from these plant?
the plant is looking p decent and shockingly similar to mine, which I grew from bag-seed. [16d into flowering right now]

and about your question ...
Stop asking about yield. All you are going to get is. About a pound.
But for better results I'd strongly suggest you to get a few warm-white T5's (in case you're exclusively growing with what is seen on your pictures)

HID lights would be better for a novice IMO, yes you can grow plants with tubes but only if dialed in and the proper training and placement will you get yield. Plants will produce more under a HID if just starting out, again IMO. Get a 400/600 and you'll see way better results when time to flower. Or let's not forget LED's before I'm attacked by the LED guys/girls :)

Don't ask about yield or you're setting yourself up to get trolled. Too many factors for us to even begin to estimate it.

You could flower now, but I would tell you to let her recover first.

I think everyone has been very restrained.... He just keeps asking!

Op, your plants look good man. Read all you can about topping and training, and personally I'd recommend looking into silica and seaweed extracts, but the big thing is to keep reading a lot so you're making informed choices, that's how you get the best from your grow :peace:
