can i dry my weed in a box?

so i chopped down my beloved plant and since my parents wont be ok with a hudge bush just drying in my room i decided to just cut all the buds from the stem and dry them somwhere, so back to my question c- can i dry my weed in a box, or does it need more space and airflow?

you could put it on a screen like window screens and put it in front of a portable heater while this may not be a convenient way to dry bud it gets the job done as long as you don't let the bud get too dry just dry enough to be ready for cure. my homeboy dries his weed this way and you can't even tell it wasn't dried the old fashion way after he cures it.

It needs to be spaced out with some airflow or you risk having your bud go to mold.

I dried my first few plants n a box fan box. I poked a hole on either side, taped fishing string from hole to hole and hung buds in box. It worked great for me. I kept box n bedroom as well, and had lots of company over that never even noticed it was there.

You need more than one box it looks like, or you need a bigger box. I agree they need to be spread out more.

Don't let them touch up against it other in a clump so much like that.

I used a shoebox for some smaller nugs. Leave it open, spread buds out and move them around daily, have a fan on nearby....if you have a hygrometer keep an eye on your humidity...popping holes all around the box would help too i didn't but i probably will next time..... what Spek and Nullis said is bang on so if you cant spread em out enough in the one box then you will need another

You can but it needs to be open and you need to rotate the buds every day.

Using the box fan box with the string is a great idea. I would add a small fan like a pc fan or something just to keep the air moving, too.

I kept the top open and set in in the path of the AC (it was mid summer). Worked like a dream, especially with very limited space and high need for stealth

OH I forgot about this one. You can use paper lunch bags. Place an inch of bud in one and fold it lightly. Over time the buds will dry but keep an eye on them. You want the bag open so gases can exchange. good luck
