Can I Clone This?

Do you think I would be able to successfully root a clone or two from this plant/tree by using clonex, super thrive, root balls, heat pad, and a propagation dome just like I would for other plants? I'm no expert but it seems to be some kind of bamboo or something similar. Thanks.

Dude I love that plant, do you know what it is called? I just rooted 2 cuttings of it, I didnt want to pay the $15 for the sick looking one my home depot had so I snapped of a branch and my wife put it in her hair like a flower and then I got home and rooted it in about 3 weeks no heat mat needed. Best bet with that is just into a container of water for about a week and then into rapid rooters / jiffy pellets (what I used only cause I didnt have RR's right then) I used Clonex but most house plants are super easy to propagate, I'd imagine it'll be fine without it.

Um-no, usually me going threw their plants is a blessing for the plants, they are all bug (aphid) covered and never get watered or cared for. When I go in there I water them fuckers, really. The garden section here is a joke- just a tiny corner of the store next to the power panel and an air compressor with a few shelves of mostly dead, or about to die plants. Actually the carnivorous ones do the best there, they come in little clear plastic boxes so are always humid and protected from the rest of the plants.

Yo... that's called a Schefflera or the more common name "Umbrella Tree". They are really cool. And... they are definitely not a bamboo.

Cheers!

If its bamboo you and you have more than one main stalk im sure you could just cut one main stock off with roots and it will grow.

want to do an intresting experiment.

plant some out side let take off for a little while then see how hard it is to kill it off so it dose not grow back.

well i'd say our home depots minus the carnivorous plants are the same.
it'd b funny to c some random person that doesnt work there, start transplanting and watering their plants

Not stealing the thread, but anyone know about cloning a lemon tree? Is it close to mj as well?
Dunno, had a buddy try to do it with blood orange tree branch, but he was unsuccessful.
