Can i clone the little popcorn bud sites on the main colas?

Well i have like... 10 main colas or somethin... Still kinda iffy on what a cola is, but i have 10 equally sized branches that are pretty long, and down each and every one of them are new branches that are going to be popcorn bud sites, like 3-5 of them per main branch. I wanted to cut all them little suckers off so that it can focus on growing on the main branches, would i be able to clone these little 1s? And if i cut them all off would it shock her too much?

Oh, and i tried cloning a top before, and it never rooted... I put cloning hormone on it and put it in a cup of water, changing the water daily. I was thinking, would i have a higher success rate if i maybe put them straight from cut to a cup of water with a bit of superthrive in there, let them sit in a warm dark place for a day, then take them out put cloning hormone on them then just plant them in little cups, under a 18/6 light cycle?

you prob cant. if there too far in flowering, the plant isnt focused on growth. you can cut them off if you want. i cut anything over a foot from the top but thats a 400w light. stronger light equal more penetration. it your choice, but i hate trimming all that crap just to get those tiny buds. i usually would just take a knife and peel down the branch and make budda.

I've heard of people pretty much cutting a bud off and cloning it, i'd imagine it wouldn't grow much more for a higher yield, just be 1 little bud growing.... But what if i just re-vegged them? They're only 1 week into flower.

I didn't see you mention if you were in 12/12 lighting. if your still vegging Yes you can clone that small bud site, its doable

She's 1 week into flowering... Like 4 weeks into 12/12

I know you're not supposed to flower mothers, but this is my only plant.. Didn't really think about cloning before flowering.

Yes you can clone that with no problems.The only problem would be it atking a little over a week to root

I don't mind how long it takes to root, as long as it does . I was waiting 4 weeks for my first clone to root, never did . lol.... But yeah also would it shock her too much if i cut all them off? Or should i just take a little bit off? Maybe like..... All the 1s below the middle of the plant.

It wont really shock her at all..It will help her promote her energy into focusing on the main cola instead of the popcorn buds that she was trying to grow

If your a week into flower, make your decision now. Yes you can clone. If you wait a couple of weeks longer you can induce unneeded stress.

I just cloned my plants in this fashion two weeks into 12/12. Once I confirmed my vortex, kush berry, Mekong high, big bang, orange bud, and blueberry were all female. Bud sites were showing and I took lower pop corn bud sites as my clones. So far they are looking good.

I rooted 2 that were taken at 30 days into 12/12, I found it was not any harder than a veg clone.
I Cut them just below the node I wanted to see the roots around, smeared some root gel on and shoved them into rooter plugs.
Two things I think have helped my success rate the most is using a heat mat and making the bottom cut just below a node.
On the 13th day they showed roots out the bottom of the plug.

Thanks for all the help all , building a little veg box for them, will they root under 24/0? I don't have another timer and i don't trust my self with turning it on and off .

yeah, anything below the canopy is just an energy drain. I've cloned those lower branches as far as three weeks into flowering. Just takes alot longer for em to throw roots is all. yeah, 24 light is optimum for rooting.
